End of the line

SEATTLE -- Kendra Wecker played like the All-America winner she has always been in the final game of her outstanding Kansas State career here Monday.
But there is only one Kendra Wecker.
Wecker had 29 of the Wildcats' first 53 points to keep the Cats in a game they should have been out. But a furious rally from a 14-point deficit in the final four minutes fell just short when Kimberly Dietz couldn't hit a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer, and Vanderbilt held on to a harrowing 63-60 victory in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
